Dr. Gene Brown
Dr. Gene Brown is originally from Waverly, Illinois. He graduated from Lincoln Land College in Springfield Illinois, with an Associate in Science degree. He then graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 1984. He has been licensed in Georgia since 1985. He has been a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association since 1985. He attends yearly continuing education classes. Dr. Gene has extensive training and experience in the treatment of head aches, back and neck problems. He also has advanced training in disc decompression using Cox Flexion distraction.
Dr. Gene is one of four chiropractors in his family and a life long patient. Dr. Gene practiced in Metro Atlanta until 1996, when he made the big move down to Glynn County. Dr. Gene is married to Cricket Brown co owner of The Beach Salon on St.Simons Island, together they have 3 granddaughters who are enrolled here in the Glynn county school system. Dr. Gene is also a proud parent of 10-12 goldfish, the numbers vary.
In his spare time Dr.Gene enjoys fishing and boating, many times it is more boating than fishing. Dr.Gene and his wife Cricket are members of the St Simons Family Gardening Club. He also enjoys wood working projects, including cedar strip kayaks.
